Raising Leaders
AN EDUCATION ADVOCACY
In order to participate in Raising Leaders Together, schools evaluate the process and commit and apply for sponsorship. This is not just a program or curriculum but rather a transformational process that helps schools develop a culture of leadership and providing leadership development for all students. It will also mean the buy-in of stakeholders if they want the process to succeed in their school.
When a school qualifies for sponsorship, FranklinCovey provides training, resources and coaching they need to implement the Leader in Me process for three years, with the goal of having a lighthouse certification. After which, a school continues the process post-sponsorship as a Lighthouse School.
This can be a win-win for both the corporation and the educational institution, as it can help the corporation to achieve its social responsibility goals and the educational institution develop life-ready leaders through the Leader in Me process. Whether it is through a corporate foundation focused on education, a CSR project, or a socially conscious brand strategy, this partnership ultimately helps schools raise a generation of principle-centered leaders who may one day lead corporations, churches, government, or other institutions.
Project Funding: One of the primary ways sponsors can participate is by providing financial support for Raising Leaders Together. Their contributions can fund the implementation of the Leader in Me process that aims to develop life-ready leaders.
Presence in School Events & Leadership Days: Sponsors may be invited to participate in school events and leadership days related to Leader in Me.
Promotion, Communication, and Marketing: Sponsors can leverage their resources to promote the initiative. This includes supporting the creation of promotional materials, such as brochures, posters, and online content, which will highlight the importance of their involvement in the project. Sponsors can also use their marketing channels to share the impact of Raising Leaders Together.
