School Application
Step 1:
Schools Attend a RLT event
Up to 100 school heads are invited to register and attend the a FREE half-day session to participate in the sponsorship program. During the event, they have the opportunity to experience FranklinCovey’s inspiring, world-renowned content and to connect with other innovative like-minded educators.
Schedule: SEPTEMBER & OCTOBERStep 2:
Experience the 7 Habits
To understand the principles of leadership used in Leader in Me, school stakeholders, heads, administrators and educators from participating schools experience the 7 Habits workshops.
Schedule: NOVEMBER Live session; DECEMBER Live online SessionStep 3:
Leader in Me Book Review
To increase readiness and resolve to have the Leader in Me, schools evaluate the process through a book review.
Schedule: JANUARY TO MARCHStep 4:
Apply for sponsorship
FranklinCovey Education shall receive the school applications. Schools are given a readiness survey. Schools shall be considered for sponsorship and presented to sponsors.
Schedule: APRIL
Step 5:
Leader in Me Process Overview
FranklinCovey Education shall provide a Leader in Me process overview for a final buy-in of school stakeholders who pass the application criteria. They in turn will be presented to a Sponsorship Committee for a final assessment and awarding.
Schedule: MAYSchool Commitment
While the commitment of sponsors is to fund the Leader in ME process in schools, schools are also asked to commit to the following:
Administer the MRA to school stakeholders annually
Accomplish OnDemand Training and other Implementation Training
Provide Coaching time for teachers quarterly
Use the Student Digital Curriculum k-12
Attend the Principal’s Academy
Provde 7 Habits Family training
Commit and abide by the 3-year spnsorship
Participate in LiM Regional Symposium
Visit Leadership Days with a local school
Allow a Lighthouse Review – visit from FC International Reviewer
Continue the LiM subscription for at least 3 years or more, after sponsorship ends
Vetting by a Sponsorship Committee
School applications are evaluated by a sponsorship committee. This may require a presentation by the school - to communicate their goals and vision for the Leader in Me in their school. (What would Leader in Me allow the school to be, do, have if it was awarded the sponsorship.)
Awarding and Contract Signing
UP to 6 schools may recieve a Raising Leaders Together Sponsorship. They will be invite to an awarding and contract signing in the presence of the sponsor/s, and FranklinCovey Philippines.
Training and installation begins during the summer for implementation for the next school year.
