Raising Leaders
TOGETHER
AN EDUCATION ADVOCACY
Raising Leaders
AN EDUCATION ADVOCACY
This win-win agreement between FranklinCovey Education, corporations and schools provides students with the leadership and social emotional character development and 21st century skill competencies needed for the future workforce – developing them as life-ready leaders.
In order to qualify, schools are invited to attend an event where they learn more about the Leader in Me. Then, school stakeholders are encouraged to have the 7 Habits experience. After which, they have a whole school review and evaluation of the Leader in Me through a book review. Those who are intent on having the Leader in Me in their schools apply for the sponsorship. They are vetted for commitment, demographics, financial resources, background, location, and alignment in terms of mission. As a final step, schools may be invited to present to a sponsorship committee in determining those who will be given the sponsorship.
When schools are chosen to be sponsored, they receive Leader in Me coaching, teacher training, teaching resources, student digital materials, annual assessment. The three-year sponsorship ends with the Lighthouse Review and certification. After their sponsorship, the school continues on as a Lighthouse School.
FranklinCovey Education shall deliver the on-demand workshops, training, coaching, online resources, digital curriculum, and (MRA) Measurable Results Assessments for schools to implement Leader in Me.
Aside from the goals of developing life-ready leaders and a culture of leadership, the end in mind of the three-year process is to experience sustained transformational results and be recognized as a Lighthouse School.
FranklinCovey coordinates with sponsors regarding events, reports, conferences, lighthouse reviews, and other essential school milestones.
After the sponsorship, the commitment of the school, as well as FranklinCovey, is to continue to journey as partners in raising leaders together.
This partnership is a three-year financial sponsorship and may include a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) component, corporate foundation education advocacies, or even a brand marketing strategy. As partners, corporations mainly provide the financial resources schools need to develop life-ready leaders.
Corporations may also adopt a school as their CSR project, where the entire organization participates in school events and milestones. It may further corporate foundation advocacies in education or foster collaboration with existing education advocacies.
Brands may also sponsor schools as a social-conscious marketing strategy that focuses on children's 21st-century skills, social-emotional learning, life skills, and leadership development. Sponsors are enjoined to attend events related to Leader in Me– like a leadership day and lighthouse review, to name a few.
