Leader in Me is a process, not just workshops or seminars we sit through. As a process, schools learn, grow, and achieve results along the journey. Although there no strict schedule or when a school moves on through the LiM journey, there is a typical implementation process we suggest:
The Leader in Me Journey can be likened to climbing a very high mountain - reaching one peak at a time. Allowing schools to learn, grow and have significant achievements every peak or every year. Below is the description of ths journey"
In the first year, we have consulting sessions that will help us align LIM implementation with the schools’ goals and schedules. We meet with the school leadership team to choose the Lighthouse Team and an Adult Learning Coordinator. We also set up LIM Online for the school and administer the initial Measureable Results Assessment (MRA).
We train all teachers in the 7 habits and start with CORE 1 online. After all, teachers have taken CORE 1 - Modules 1.1 to 3.5, we have a coaching session with them. Then for the 2nd semester, they take CORE 1 - Modules 4.1 to 5.4 then we meet them again.
The Lighthouse Team also has a separate module. In between, we will offer Community coaching sessions open to ALL schools that will focus on relevant issues and/or the latest LIM content. This means we will be giving more coaching sessions to schools, allowing them to interact with other schools, and allowing us to do more for less. LIM Online will also have Coaching videos for them to learn more about LIM if they are not able to attend our usual session and if they are interested in learning more or ahead of the school.
Note: For the first year - there are pre-consult meetings, more training, and coaching sessions.
In the second year, we have consulting sessions that will help us look into MRA results and create a plan to address these, and also plan for the SY. We meet with the school leadership team and lighthouse team at the beginning and end of the school year.
We train all new teachers in the 7 habits. They also take CORE 1. The Adult Learning Coordinator oversees the on-demand training. The rest will start with CORE 2 online. CORE 2 is the second milestone of our Leader in Me journey. Our end in mind is that we will be able to empower our students to achieve growth by applying the practices of Leader in Me. This course is all about helping students achieve goals through empowerment.
After all, teachers have taken CORE 2 - Modules 1.1 to 3.4, we have a coaching session with them. Then for the 2nd semester, they take CORE 2 - Modules 4.1 to 4.5 then we meet them again. The Lighthouse Team also has a separate module. In between, we will offer Community coaching sessions open to ALL schools that will focus on relevant issues and/or the latest LIM content. LIM Online will also have Coaching videos for them to learn more about LIM if they are not able to attend our usual session and if they are interested in learning more or ahead of the school.

CORE 3 builds on the work of CORES 1 and 2. Continuing to focus on the leadership, culture, and academics portions of the Framework, CORE 3 helps participants release the ownership of learning to students, as they articulate their progress to goals, practice their leadership skills in service, and find their voice to make their unique contribution to the world as life-ready leaders. At the end of this course, participants should be able to develop life-ready leaders by applying the practices of Leader in Me.

After a school goes through a lighthouse review and certification, there are lesser consulting sessions. However, we still look into MRA results and create a plan to address these and also plan for the SY. We meet with the school leadership team and lighthouse team at the beginning and end of the school year. New teachers take the 7 habits and go through the CORE Training and join Community Coaching sessions.
